María Isabel is a founding partner of Giraldo Ángel Asociados, a lawyer from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and a specialist in Procedural Law from the same university. She also holds a Master in Project Management (MSPM) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Miami, as well as a Master in Philosophy from the Maastricht School of Management.

She completed a Diploma in Senior Management of Boards of Directors at the Universidad de los Andes, a Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Universidad Externado de Colombia in alliance with Confecamaras, obtaining the category of Consultant of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She is a graduate of the Instituto de Empresas de Madrid (IE) where she completed an Advanced Management Program and a diploma in International Arbitration at the Solventa Foundation of Spain, the Andean Development Corporation and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota.

He studied advanced English at Eastern Washington University and the EF School of Cambridge (UK) and in Malta.

He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial, corporate and business law consulting; he is an arbitrator of the Medellín Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Directors of several companies.
